 Dr. Jim Virtue has served at New Testament Baptist Church since 1970 in a variety of positions. He came to Dade Christian School as a math teacher, served as Dean of Students and then as Headmaster for 13 years.
He then moved to full-time on the church staff as Director of Christian Education and Administrative Pastor. In 1998, Dr. Virtue assumed the role of Principal of The Master's Academy. He currently serves as the Principal of The Master's Academy, Superintendent of both TMA and Dade Christian School, and Assistant Pastor at the Dade Location.
Dr. Virtue graduated from Baptist Bible College, earned Bachelor's degrees from Evangel College and Baptist University of America, Master's degrees from Liberty University and Florida International University, and his Doctor's degree in Educational Administration from Florida International University.
Dr. Virtue has been married to Linda for 34 years and they have two children, Deanna and David, both living at home and attending college.
His hobbies are reading and spending time with the family, as well as being a sports fan. His favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 15:58.
