 Ralph Rodriguez is the pastor of Community Relations at New Testament Baptist Church. He is married to the lovely Rita Rodriguez, who also serves faithfully as his volunteer secretary. They have two grown sons, Derek, 28, is a paramedic firefighter for the city of Miami, and David, who is now with the Lord.
Pastor Ralph has served NTBC on many different capacities, including, AWANA commander, Senior High School and Young Married's Class worker, jail ministry, DCS elementary sports program, DCS varsity football, basketball and baseball coach. He is known for bringing a special love, passion and commitment to every program he participates in.
He is a graduate of Miami Springs Sr. High and the Southern Police Institute Command School from the University of Louisville. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Miami Springs Police Department after 30 years of service, where he was in charge of criminal investigations and community policing.
Pastor Ralph's current ministry responsibilities include: the Connections young married Sunday school class, church baptisms, hospital visits, leader of the Tuesday Night visitation team, pre-wedding counselor, and being the Campus pastor for the teachers and families of Dade Christian School.
